Call or send the form and describe what you see: hail marks, a flicker hole, a crack, a bulge or crumbling parging. Photos help. If it is hail damage, contact your home insurance provider before any repair work, as the City of Calgary advises.
The contractor looks at the wall, works out whether it is cement stucco or EIFS and checks for signs of moisture. One Calgary firm notes that nobody can tell the full extent of water damage until the wall is opened up, so scope can change.
You get a written proposal to compare and can accept it or not. Timing follows the weather: one Calgary firm puts the stucco season at April through October, and repairs outside it need heated hoarding.

The Insurance Bureau of Canada says hail damage is typically covered by home insurance, but check your own policy. A contractor can write a repair estimate that you may pass to your insurer. This site does not file, negotiate or manage claims.
Northern flickers are federally protected, so do not harm the bird or disturb a hole with eggs or chicks in it. Environment and Climate Change Canada says you may discourage a bird from returning with measures that cause it no harm, such as covering the area with wire mesh. Once nesting has ended, a contractor can patch and reinforce the hole.

Imasco's guide specification says to do no traditional stucco work when air and substrate temperatures are below 4 degrees C for 24 hours before, during and after application, and ADEX specifies 5 degrees C or above for 24 hours. Calgary Parging says off-season repairs need heated hoarding. In winter a contractor can still survey the wall, quote it and book the work for spring.
